My journey into food and culture-driven storytelling started long before Eyestorm’s transformation. In 2012, I launched Latin Lover Food & Travel Magazine, a project born from my passion for food and the way culinary traditions connect people across cultures.
It wasn’t just about showcasing beautifully plated dishes—it was about the stories behind them. The grandmother’s recipe passed down for generations, the street vendor in New York sharing flavors from home, the way food acts as a bridge between identities and communities.
Through Latin Lover, we didn’t just write about these traditions; we brought them to life. We hosted immersive food experiences, championed restaurants, and introduced New Yorkers to the rich histories behind Latin American cuisine. It became a platform where Latinos and non-Latinos alike could celebrate food as a shared language—a way to understand one another beyond words.
Fast-forward to 2024, and Reimagining Us has taken that idea even further. If Latin Lover was about celebrating culture through food, Reimagining Us explores the deeply personal connections between food, memory, and belonging. Here, recipes aren’t just instructions—they’re narratives. They carry the weight of family traditions, migrations, and the everyday rituals that keep us tethered to our roots.
Looking back, I can see how everything I’ve created—design, publishing, storytelling—has led to this moment. Eyestorm’s transformation into a culture-driven marketing agency feels like a natural progression of my work and passions.
At its core, Eyestorm is more than marketing. It’s about crafting experiences, shaping narratives, and helping brands connect with audiences in ways that feel real and lasting. Food, culture, and identity remain central to our work, and this next chapter is about bringing brands into that world—helping them tell stories that don’t just sell a product but create impact.
With this evolution, Eyestorm now specializes in two core areas:
This is more than a shift in services—it’s a commitment to helping businesses create authentic connections with their audiences, whether through strategic content or immersive experiences.
As Eyestorm embarks on this next chapter, I’m excited to share even more stories, insights, and discoveries. That’s why I’m launching Food & Culture Tidbits—a monthly newsletter featuring books, podcasts, restaurants, and cultural moments that inspire me.
If you love exploring the intersection of food, storytelling, and marketing, I’d love for you to join me on this journey.
